2012 Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Award  

Support Kansas City is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2012 Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership Awards.

It is part of our mission to promote best practices for nonprofits throughout our community and this award helps identify and honor those effective nonprofit organizations with strong leadership on both a staff and board level.  

Previous award winners have Rose Brooks Center, Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City, Phoenix Family Housingand The Women's Employment Network.  

This award also serves as a way to educate the community about the importance of board service and the strengthening of leadership when board and staff value and exemplify nonprofit best practices.

 A reception will be held in  April to announce the winners and celebrate their leadership successes. More details will follow soon. Event Sponsorships are available.
